Cop who falsified DUI arrests WON’T be charged with crime

Fiorito

I previously posted (click here) about a Chicago Officer who would falsify evidence in police reports in order to make DUI arrests.  Richard Fiorito has been sued civilly for targeting classes of individuals and making fake DUI arrests.  On my prior post the video of one such arrestee clearly showed him not failing the FSTs administered.  However, contrary to the video, Fiorito’s report read that the defendant admitted being intoxicated and failed the FST.

ABC7 in Chicago reports that the Cook County State Attorney’s Office dismissed several of the DUI arrests made by Fiorito.  Inexplicably Fiorito won’t be prosecuted.  This is an other example of someone in power not being held accountable for his actions.
